The Storz and Bickel filling pads can be used to either roast concentrates with your Storz & Bickel Device or stabilize a lightly packed bowl for maximum efficiency. 

The Filling Pad can be used as “gap filler” in order to avoid small amounts of herbs swirling around in the Filling Chamber. In addition, the Filling Pad can also be used as a carrier of very finely ground herbs so that the small particles don’t fall through the holes of the Filling Chamber.

If you want to use concentrates, wax or oils in your Volcano or Plenty with the Drip Pad Set, the stainless steel wire of the drip pad functions like the vegetable fibres of dry herbs. It provides the necessary surface area that allows your concentrates, wax or oils to be roasted efficiently.

Using a liquid pad will prevent concentrates, wax or oils from seeping into your unit. It is highly important that you use a drip pad whenever you roast these materials to avoid any potential damage to your unit. It is important to change the pad if it is showing signs of wear and tear or when the pad is damaged in any way.
